Taking a Few Days Off...

Update: The offer regarding the first 2 chapters of The Land Beyond the Portal as a sneak peek for whoever is interested is no longer available.  Have a great week!

Hello everyone!  I hope you’re enjoying these book reviews, I couldn’t believe how many books I was able to get through this weekend J  I’m currently reading a library book, but I won’t be reviewing it.  It’s The Restitution by M.L. Tyndall and so far it’s really good.  I’ve decided to take a break from reviewing this week and I pray EACH of you all over the world have a wonderful week whether you’re celebrating Thanksgiving or not.  It’s the season for holiday preparation and my mind is still not ready for it all.  I’ve been reading several other blogs the last week or so and many people are listing what they are thankful for, every time I read these sentiments and these lists, I smile tenderly at how God has blessed all of us.

What am I thankful for?  Wow, there’s so much to praise God for, I hardly know where to begin.  I’d have to start with Jesus and the life He chose to take for my sake and the sake of the world.  He lives and reigns in my heart and the transformation He has done within me is impossible to the human mind.  I’m so grateful for His presence, His love, His grace, and the unique relationship I have with Him.  There’s no one like Him and there never will be J

I’m also EXTREMELY thankful for my parents, who are also my best friends, and two very special people I have been on a journey with.  They support me in everything I do and even though they don’t like reading or care about books, they are so proud of me and are happy I’m blogging.  They now ask me constantly if I got more books in the mail and what I’m reviewing and it’s adorable.  They respect and value my decisions and they cherish their time with me.  They are also excited about my writing a book and encourage me along the way.

I’m also thankful for:
books
the people I’m connecting with online (bloggers and authors alike)
the opportunity to run this blog
my health
my pets
my nephew and sister-in-law
my car
praise and worship songs
my Bible
air conditioning
my amazing church
my best friend Mark and his family
my creativity
Ben and Jerry’s ice cream
coffee
my college degree
my room and privacy
grace
freedom
two awesome brothers
This is not in any order, but I wanted to list the most obvious things in my life J

I would like to have another giveaway, but this is not the official posting for it.  I have some books I need to get rid of because I’m expecting several more for reviewing next month and I don’t have room for all of them.  I’m considering 5 different books in this giveaway.  Please leave a comment if this sounds interesting.  I will continue to check for your comments, but for the next few days I won’t be posting.  Enjoy Thanksgiving food, fun, family, and fellowship and I’ll talk to you again soon J

***HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL AND MIGHTY BLESSINGS!!!!!!!!***
