Please vote for Lisa Bergren’s books in round 3!!!
Book Giveaway, Nonfiction (but I love the title):
there are 2 posts from author Michelle Griep’s blog
this week that are humorous and relevant and she’s working on a manuscript, so
great:
Katie is having another book swap next week and I’m
preparing my own books to swap:
Be on the lookout with Christian Fiction Book Reviews
because John is also having book giveaways as well as free ebooks he lists
almost daily:
I’m not posting any reviews for a few days, but I’m catching up on my reading. Right now I’m reading Out of Control by Mary Connealy and then I’ll be reviewing In Too Deep by Connealy. I’m also waiting for my selection from Booksneeze to come in, Eyes of Justice, and that review will be shortly posted. I will give comments on Out of Control, but not a review. I won it in a blog contest a while ago and I wanted to read the series in order.
I find out about these contests on goodreads and
facebook; I only share the ones with you that I think are worth your time and
the ones I’ve entered. Here is what the

I’m not married yet, but I found this
posting relevant to ALL couples and it blessed me tremendously when I saw
it. I also loved the movies Fireproof/Courageous
and I look forward to getting a copy of the resolution book that’s out, but
this posting is something you can do on a daily basis without watching a movie
or reading a book. It’s so basic yet it
has profound results. #2-wear your
wedding DAY at all times. That’s soooo
cool! Even your hubby can be blessed
with that notion whether he remembers the details or not. He won his BRIDE that day and a new life
started for them BOTH. Wear your wedding
day, what a concept! I love the other 39
points, but I’ve never heard of #2 before J
God LOOOOVES marriage and every married couple is a TREASURE to
Him!!!!!!! It’s something He
created/instituted/sanctified and He is blessed by each couple that endeavors
to make that commitment. And yes, I’m
speaking from a Christian perspective, but make no mistake about it; God loves
ALL people and He wants a relationship with each of us before and during our
marriage. He is my standard in all
things and while I love Him, I learn to love myself and others. So even though these 40 steps are good for
marriages, everyone can be blessed by them.
I expect to post The Maid of Fairbourne
Hall in a few weeks and I plan on having an extra copy or two to give away for
that review. There are other books that
need reviewing, but I expect to have them ready in April. I think I’ll be caught up by next month, wow,
and then I have LOTS of ebooks I’m considering reviewing for April/May. I’ve downloaded over 40 of them on my laptop,
but I’ll only be reviewing a small amount of that at a time. My eyes and brain need a break after a while J I’m trying to win a kindle so I can start
reading on that device, so cool looking!
I love my laptop, but it’s a hassle reading on it.
Here are books I don’t have that I’m
wanting, my new wish list! Do you recognize any of these? Do you like the same books I’m looking for?

These women are no longer just a name on
a book/page, I’ve had the chance to read their books and many of them I’ve come
to know over the past months. I enjoy
liking their comments on facebook, reading their blogs and participating, and
spreading the word about their book or contests when the opportunity comes
up. Even if I don’t get a free book out
of it, I can now consider them a peer and a colleague. They all have different personalities,
tastes, and styles, but they are all lovely, humorous and share bits of
themselves on the internet that I treasure.
Vannetta Chapman and Michelle Griep ALWAYS put a smile on my face
with their quirky comments and funny
moments!!! I have yet to get a book out
with my name on it, BUT NOW I share the company of a variety of women who share
their secrets, talents, suggestions, and faith that I can learn from…… and
what can I do as a fellow reader/writer?
I’m eager to bless them and support them in their writing careers, I can pray for them in their Christian walks and struggles, and I can celebrate with them as they learn to trust God more and share the praise reports God has bestowed upon them and their precious families. That’s so much more meaningful to me than just getting a book. As a blogger, I count myself soooooooo fulfilled and blessed that I have “met” these writers (and other bloggers who share the same passion as I do for books) and can share in their journeys as I go forward in mine.
I pray you have been blessed this week with good books, discovering a new book or author that enriches your reading life, were able to accomplish more of your to-do list/goals, or just getting a new revelation from God of how much He loves you and delights in you. Thanks for reading my blog and sharing the joy of books with me.
